Thanksgiving

Earlier this week, we celebrated Thanksgiving in London, its always a bit sad being far away from home for the holidays, but we were with close friends and it was a really lovely evening.  While the company and food were out of this world, I couldn't help but marvel at my friends stunning place settings!

(How amazing are these Hermes Dishes? It is the Balcon du Guadalquivir pattern.)
As a little girl I was in awe of my mom's Tiffany China Collection.  When the china was set, it signified an important holiday or event and I knew that one day I would get to be as grown up and elegant as my mom and find my own pattern to collect.  When it came time to register for my wedding, I finally got to shop for my collection.

Here are a few more I liked:

Sol Y Sombra by Vista Alegre (Designed by Christian Lacroix)

Perlee Platinum by L'Objet
In the end, I decided to stick to a very traditional blue and white scheme, but I actually mixed two different Mottahedeh patterns.  What do you think?!

Here we go!

Hi there!…A little about me, I am a native New Yorker, but currently living in London.  I moved here with my husband two years ago when his job transferred him from the New York to London office.  At the time, I decided to leave my job in fashion and go back to school for interior design.

That was two years ago, almost to the day, and while I’ve had my highs and lows I have never looked back.  Both personally and professionally the last few years have taught me so much, about travel and living abroad, but also about myself.

I've been really lucky to have some great jobs and experiences along the way and I plan to share lots of fun interior design thoughts, business updates, travel advice and anything else that inspires me on a daily basis.  I hope you enjoy!
